Today Brooklynn went for her two week check-up. She now weighs 8 lbs 5 oz and is 21 1/2 inches long. The doctor said that she is a healthy girl and has excellent control of her head to be so young. Recently Brooklynn has had an upset stomach and has been fussy, so the doctor decided to change her formula to one that she may be able to digest more easily. Either way she said that it is common for babies her age to have this problem because of the immaturity of the digestive system and that in a few weeks she should be over it.

She is such a pretty girl! I can't wait to meet her! I know the fussiness is frustrating and exhausting, but hopefully she'll grow out of it soon.
