New Playground!

Brooklynn's new playground is finally together, and she loves it! Thanks Pops and Mimi!

Friday at Cherry Grove

Friday we took the girls pictures out on the beach. Here are a few shots I took:

B took a face plant in the sand and her ENTIRE face was covered. The only logical thing to do was to wash off in the baby pool.

She loved that idea.

Fun on the beach

Exhausted

Wednesday night we hit Broadway at the Beach. First, we went to the aquarium.

Brooklynn's favorite part besides seeing the sharks swimming in the tunnel, were the mermaids. They have a new mermaid dive show. We didn't have a great view, but what Brooklynn could see left her intrigued.

Above is a picture of the mermaid swimming around after the show. B also got her pic taken with a mermaid! I'll post that picture later! After the aquarium Brooklynn and Marlee were excited to ride even more rides from the old Pavilion.

Brooklynn didn't do a great job of sharing the Captain's Bell.

Her favorite ride was definitely the whales that bounced up and down.

I had trouble getting a good pic of the girls on the cars. Brooklynn was intent on driving and again hogged the horn.

Tuesday at Cherry Grove

Yesterday was another lazy day for Brooklynn. We went to the beach for a little while in the morning, but I didn't take my camera. I'll try to get some more beach pictures today. Once Brooklynn had her fill of sand and waves we headed on back to the condo for a nap. She took another long one and then after she woke up we headed to Calabash, NC for some yummy seafood and to see the shrimp boats.

Last night we weny to the Disney store. Brooklynn got some princess stamps, two new cups, and Gram bought her a Rapunzel night gown.

Monday at Cherry Grove

Today was a catch up on sleep day for B. She made it on the beach about an hour before deciding she was tired. She slept most of the afternoon but still woke up cranky. She has been going pretty hard since last Thursday. After Gram cooked dinner we headed down the Ocean Blvd to see what kind of rides we could find, and Brooklynn sure perked up.

B was very serious about driving the fire truck. This was the first ride they rode by themselves and B never took her hands off the wheel.

Brooklynn also hit the jackpot at the arcade and won 500 tickets. She and Marlee got matching pink pocket books.

B had lots of fun yesterday on the beach and at Build a Bear.

B is having a great time at the beach. She has been so excited. I mean Christmas morning, birthday girl excited. Those of you who know her little hand pump that she does when she gets super excited know what I mean. We took her to her first movie yesterday, Winnie the Pooh. She did great and the movie was the perfect length of time for her first theater experience.
