Zoo Day

After a week of begging for a zoo trip, we packed up this morning and drove to Columbia. B was so excited and she was very eager to see the giraffes!

B has a serious love for giraffes. Today, we were lucky to get there during feeding time.

My favorite part was the Kangaroo Walk. You can actually walk through a path with kangaroos jumping everywhere. Too bad, they were all sleeping when we came through.

As always, Brooklynn loved feeding the goats.

She was very intrigued by this and we had to really talk her into moving on.

All that walking sure does work up a girl's appetite.

For those of you who are wondering, Brooklynn did pick out ANOTHER stuffed giraffe. We named him Rivers (for Riverbanks Zoo.) We'll see if he can hang in there with her other two favorite stuffed giraffes, Raffi (from Greenville Zoo) and Caesar (from Caesar's Palace.)
