I am a lover of books, rocking chairs, seafood, fresh flowers, the mountains, grits with lots of pepper, flip flops, pearls, tennis, surprises, good listeners, and most of all my wonderful, patient husband Nick, my sweet and sassy Brooklynn and her new baby brother Hayden.
Brooklynn sampled her first little bit of apple juice today.

The good news is that she did a great job at holding the cup!

Try really cold ice water. Charlie loved that. We would give him his cup in the bath without the stopper in it so when he tipped it up it would drip in his mouth. Then, it didn't make a mess.
