Below are a few things we've learned about Brooklynn in the past six months:
- That pouty lip that first showed itself the minute she was born is still holding strong! That may mean trouble in future years for Nick.
- Brooklynn usually only cries when she is hungry or sleepy. Yes, I do know how lucky we are to have such a sweet girl.
- B loves to cuddle. She is ready and willing to be rocked to sleep by any one with a comfy arm.
- Brooklynn loves The Beatles. If all else fails, just play Yellow Submarine or When I'm 64.
- Books, books, books! Brooklynn is almost able to turn the pages of books when we read to her! It must be the hours and hours that Mimi has spent rocking and reading to Brooklynn.
- B loves to flirt with strangers. She'll give almost anybody a smile.
- We've learned to never leave an empty bottle sitting around. Brooklynn LOVES her bottle
and if she sees it, she has to have it.
- Brooklynn has a definite sleep routine and when she misses her bedtime or gets off track, it means a restless night for everyone.
- It is probably safe to say that Brooklynn has met more dogs than babies. She loves Tugboat and just laughs and smiles when she sees him. Tugboat is still unsure, unless it is meal time!
- B loves to sit in highchairs at restuarants and throw the menu around. If you are ever out to eat with B, watch your drink!
Brooklynn is such a sweet girl and I can't imagine life without her. My favorite part of the day is walking into her room every morning and seeing that huge smile! Nick and I can't wait to see what the next six months hold!
