Warning: This post requires a little potty talk, so if you aren't interested stop reading now.
Brooklynn had a major breakthrough this week in her new class. She finally pooped in the potty. Yes, I know this may not seem like a big deal, but she has had a fear of it for weeks now. We tried bribing her with everything we could think of and finally Nick said the magic words, "Zoo!" She has waited since last Monday to finally get her trip to the zoo as her reward. So we officially made yesterday, Brooklynn's Day!
First we headed to Jelly Beans to get her mop shaped up. I love that place because they get her in and out before she even knows what happened. Then it was off to see her beloved animals.
Afterwards, Brooklynn wanted to play on the playground at Cleveland Park. I have to admit that the playground there could probably entertain me for a couple of hours. I had to fight the urge to climb on some of those crazy swings. It is by far the best playground in Greenville.
On the way home we stopped by Lebo's so Brooklynn could pick out her new dance leotard, tights, and ballet shoes. She starts class on Tuesday! Afterwards, B got to pick where we ate lunch. She picked Chick-Fil-A. She wanted chicken and honey mustard. Overall, I think she had a pretty exciting day.
Class Update: Last week was B's first week in her new class. She was definitely having a good time when I picked her up in the afternoons, but boy was she cranky at night. Those big kids can wear a little girl out. She also has had more accidents at school this week than she has had the whole time we have been potty training. Her teacher said that every accident has happened outside. They spend a lot more time outside than she did with her old class. We will see if she does better this week.
