Weekly Goal Failure

Well my goal for the week was to fix dinner at home Monday- Thursday. Those of you that know me, know that this is almost laughable since I can't cook. However, yesterday I tackled chicken pot pie, thanks to a good friend, Blair Keeley, who walked me through step by step. After dropping an entire chicken breast down the garbage disposal while trying to wash it, I still managed to mess up what seemed like an easy meal. We ended up eating roast beef sandwiches.
Yesterday was upside down pizza casserole which I made successfully, but didn't like it enough to fix again in the future. Today I got to work at 6:45 and taught until 2:25. After school I had a meeting, went to pick up B, only to come home to lesson plans, paperwork, observations to prepare for, and the list goes on and on and on. Who has time to cook?!? Not me! I told Nick that if he wants to eat at home, he could come home and cook. Needless to say, Nick picked up Schlotzsky's on the way home. Maybe we will try again tomorrow, although tomorrow night I tutor a student from 7-8. Maybe not.

Here is a video of B tonight.

Grapes is our Elf on a Shelf from last year. Grapes hasn't made his first appearance yet, but the threat is in place. Below is a video of B talking to Grapes on the phone.
