Yesterday Pops, Mimi, Brooklynn and I headed to Augusta for Kylie's 5th birthday party. We hit the road about 9:00, and once we got there we headed out to lunch with the family. B was such a sweet girl all day long. She didn't get a nap in, so I was a little concerned how she would handle a 4:00 party. But, when party time rolled around she was ready to celebrate.
Kylie loves Super Mario Brothers, so that was the theme of her party. Check out this cake.
Meredith sure has the best cake lady ever. I wish she lived close to us! I must say this is a pretty impressive cake for someone who didn't even know who Mario was. It was delicious too!
Princess Peach also made an appearance at the party. B was certainly intrigued and didn't miss a step.
Once it was time to find the Yoshi eggs, B started running out of gas and the meltdowns began. Thanks goodness Meredith has a nice, big, back bathroom that was perfect for a few three year old temper tantrums. B was so tired. She pulled through though and was asleep before we hit the interstate!
