Today one of our preachers stopped by the house and brought Hayden a present.
It's a Dutch Cradle Cross. I wasn't exactly sure what the story was behind the cradle cross, but this is what the paper said that came with it.
Jesus said, " Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for such belongs to the kingdom of heaven." - Matthew 19:14
"With all their hearts, the Dutch believed in this passage from Holy Scripture and for centuries placed cradle crosses over the beds of thier infant children- that this symbol of the Christian faith might early become a part of the child's consciousness."
She also gave Hayden a book and a certificate.
