Haircut

Anyone who has seen Brooklynn lately knows that she needs a haircut. I haven't taken her for two reasons:

1- Snip-its on a Saturday morning = a long wait

2- The main reason I haven't taken her is because I just didn't want to deal with a possible temper tantrum in the middle of a crowded kid's hair salon.

Nick and I decided that we had waited long enough and it was time to take Brooklynn and just deal with the tantrum. We came prepared with chocolate, which she only gets at times like this. I, however, did not give B enough credit.

We got there right when they opened and had to wait about 15 - 20 minutes. Brooklynn read books and shared with the other kids waiting. She didn't fuss or cry the whole time she was getting her hair cut. She even got a sucker when she left. All that stressing about a hair cut for nothing! So we went to Barnes and Noble afterwards and B got to pick out a new book. She finally decided on "Biscuit and the Little Pup."

Mimi is in Rabun Gap with Aunt Shay, so B and I decided to surprise Pops and watch the Dawgs with him. B showed off her new haircut and even played the harmonica.
