Last Thursday was an interesting day for Brooklynn. I picked her up from school and her teachers began telling me that she has not been a very good girl lately. She keeps telling her teachers,"NO!" and having temper tantrums throughout the day. She seems to be getting in trouble for not following directions. Of course, these are the same things she is doing at home. Her teacher just said that it is a phase and it will pass. That didn't stop me from giving her a stern talking to on the way home. I called Mimi to tell her about B getting in trouble at school and of course Mimi then wanted to talk to her as well. Brooklynn, knowing she was in trouble, refused to take the phone. Finally, she took the phone and before Mimi could even say anything B said, "Mimi I've been bad!"
Even though B had a rough day at school we still went to the zoo that night for the Greenville County Bar Association's Family Night. I'm so glad we went because every time we have been to the zoo it has been so crowded. B got to get right up next to the cages and glass, and she loved it!
Her favorites this trip were the lions and the goats!
The Bar Association gave all the kids crackers to feed the animals and even a stuffed elephant to take home!
