We went to church this morning and Brooklynn got to move up to a new class. I think they actually have her in the three year olds going on four, but everybody seemed assured that is the class she should be in. We tried to tell them that she is two going on three, but apparently we must follow the list. Brooklynn didn't even bother to say bye when we dropped her off. A new classroom definitely peaked her interest. When we picked her up she had on fairy wings and was climbing up a ladder to a loft. I don't think she even knew we left.
We finally made it to the pool today. I must admit that preparing to go to the pool is quite a task. Once we got snacks, sunscreen, and drinks packed we were ready to go.
Brooklynn was very curious when we got to the pool. We didn't spend a lot of time at the pool last summer, so this is somewhat new. First she just wanted to sit with her feet in the water. Then she and Nick went back and forth between the big pool and the baby pool about a hundred times.
B got brave once and walked across the baby pool by herself. She met lots of new friends her age and all evening she kept talking about going back to the pool. Maybe she will feel a little more confident tomorrow.
