Last night Brooklynn and I went to the Yellow Mall in Gaffney with Blair and Garren. We were on the hunt for some new white Keds, which seem to be harder and harder to find lately. We had dinner at Fatz and Brooklynn was really impressed with the giant peach. She was still talking about it at dinner tonight.
What a nice Saturday we have had around here. It seems like we always have something to do every weekend this fall, so today was a nice change. We all were home and able to do a lot of nothing. We went back and forth all week about going to the Clemson game, but ultimately Nick decided he might be bad luck for the Tigers. We decided to stay home and get some much needed Brooklynn time. Also, Dakota (Mom and Dad's dog) is still in recovery mode since he was hit by the car. So he is spending the weekend with us while Mom and Dad are in Rabun Gap.
Brooklynn is loving her new dance class. Well, she loves the tap part of dance class. Mom says she pretty much stands around and watches the ballet part, but when it is time to tap that girl LOVES it!
Sorry I have been so slack with the blog lately. My days seem to be packed with work and obligations. I promise to do better!
