Birthdays!

This weekend was not a great one. I woke up sick on Sunday morning and after spending almost two hours at the doctor's office, I found out I had a stomach virus. Mom was nice enough to keep B all day Sunday and then had to turn around and come get her again because Nick got sick Sunday night. After some medication, Nick felt better this morning. I ended up taking the day off to recover and I am feeling better tonight. Thanks again to Mimi for saving the day and keeping B.

Mom said this morning that B got up pretty early demanding lunch. She also said that a commercial for the pillow pets that you see everywhere came on this morning and B said, "I want pillow animal!" Luckily, we had already told Santa that B has been demanding a pillow pet.

Saturday we went to Gunner's Birthday party. Gunner is Nick's cousin Chase's son. Brooklynn had a fun time bowling:

This was Brooklynn's third birthday party this week. Carter and Sam also had birthday parties at school. Brooklynn throughly enjoyed the purple cupcakes and Oreos provided. She also sang Happy Birthday to me Friday night. She should know what to do when her party rolls around in a few weeks.
