Just a quick update on Mom tonight. They did decide to do the chemo treatment today after giving her an iv. She will have one more round next Monday and then they will rescan and make a decision from there. I'm not going to lie, Mom is very very sick and I don't mean as a result of the chemo. This cancer is so aggressive and I don't expect for the chemo to have made any improvements. Hopefully I am wrong, but we will just have to wait and see.
Today was ok for Mom, but tomorrow is going to be the true test. Last Tuesday was a challenge after the chemo and I am hoping that tomorrow will be better. They will put in her port on Wednesday. This will be the site that they use to give her chemo treatments and ivs.
I've had several people ask me for specific things to pray for this week. The major thing would just be for the pain in her stomach to subside and that the nausea will be manageable.
