Operation Sippy Cup is in full swing. We almost completed two full days of no bottles and all sippy cups with no meltdowns. That was before this evening. According to B's teachers she refuses bottles at school and only wants sippy cups like all her older classmates. At home, however, B much prefers her bottle. Tonight we had just finished dinner and B walked up and said, "Milk." I walked to the kitchen, handed B her sippy cup and got this response:
She was not too happy. She screamed, yelled, threw her sippy cup down several times and made this face:
As pitiful as this face is, I did not give in. I finally poured her milk from one sippy cup to another and that worked. For now . . .
