We headed back to the mall today because Brooklynn was in desperate need of new shoes. Little did I know at the time how desperately she needed new shoes. Mimi and Pops bought her a nice pair of shoes from Stride Rite around her birthday and she has worn those every day since. In fact, those are the only shoes she has that fit. I never thought of getting new ones because they matched everything and she really just needs a comfy pair for daycare. We went to Stride Rite first today, only to get irritated with the lack of service. We finally just left and went to Nordstrom's. Oh, how I will miss Nordstrom's when we move back to Greenville. What a fabulous children's shoe department. It turns out the B is now wearing a size 6!! We have been stuffing that foot into a size 4 since Christmas! Poor B. They had such a great selection that we tried on about 8 different pairs and finally decided on these:
I would have bought her the three other pairs that I liked as well, but the wallet only allows for one at this point! B certainly let us know which ones she liked and which ones she didn't. We finally had it narrowed down between the ones above and another pair. We chose these because they are a little different from what she had before. After a little time adjusting to shoes that actually fit, B seems happy as well with the pick. It looks like in the future I shouldn't wait as long between shoe purchases. Who knew feet grew so quickly?!

LOL Those feet do grow like crazy! Baby Jay is already in a 5 so I can sympathize!!
I had to post a comment about this!! We did the same thing this weekend!! We went to Stride Rite at Carolina Place...only to find the Madison had been wearing 4 1/2 shoes since last fall...and she needs to be in a 6!!! The lady said.."you really need to have her fitted more often" I wanted to say...well..Target doesn't have people there to measure her!!! We bought 2 pairs at Stride Rite..luckily they were buy 1 get one 1/2 off...B's shoes are too cute!! :)
Christie- I can't believe that Jay is already a six! Wow, he is a growing boy! ;)
Lauren- That so so funny about Madison! That is true about Target! I had just tried on a size 5 at Target the day before, but decided not to get them. Glad I didn't because she would have gotten new shoes that were still too small!
