Brooklynn was a lazy girl this morning. We finally woke her up about 10:00!! She had breakfast and then it was off to Tigerville to spend the afternoon with Gram and Poopa.

Yesterday Nick and I worked hard trying to gain control of the plants that have taken over our yard. I had a great time with the hedge trimmers. Nick, on the other hand, did not have a good time picking all of it up. We made a trip to Upstate Plants and purchased some pumpkins, pansies, and pots for our mums.
In the next few weeks we will be ripping out the beds in front of the house and trimming back some trees. I can't wait to get the yard under control!
I was looking at a calendar this morning and discovered that B's birthday falls in a bad place this year. Saturday the 25th is Christmas and the following Saturday is New Year's Day. We definitely don't want to interfere with any bowl games, so we decided that Brooklynn's party this year will be on the 26th at our place. We plan on having the family over for a Barnyard BBQ! Mark your calendars! :)
