A Full Day = A Sleepy Gal

B starts full time in her new class tomorrow. Below are the things she did today in her new class:

This week's theme is Community Helpers that keep us safe.
-Read Firefighters and learned that firefighters have a very important job.
- Pointed to the firefighters in the story and talked about how they keep us safe.
-Explored with red and black construction paper and glue.
-Sang the Firefighter Song and did the motions.
-Learned a new yoga pose "nose to knees"
- Learned that some foods come from plants. Looked at an ear of corn and discussed how it used to be a plant.
- Pretended to be firefighters that rode fire trucks and put out fires!
- Learned the Spanish word for fire, "fuego"

I said fuego tonight as Brooklynn was eating dinner and she stopped, looked at me and got the biggest smile on her face. I guess she was paying attention today. No wonder she was so exhausted tonight.

B's new teacher also wrote a note that Brooklynn loved going to gym class today and riding the scooter. Her last class didn't have gym time, so I know B is loving that!
