Why are the weekends so short?

Didn't the weekend just start?

Well, even though it flew by we had a good one. Saturday Brooklynn slept until close to 9:30 before Nick finally woke her up. We watched Clemson play a terrible game and then B went to spend the evening with Pops and Mimi while Nick and I did some shopping. B got to take a trip to the toy store and ended up with a new dollhouse, which she loves! For some strange reason she always puts the daddy on the toilet and nowhere else. Haha. She also loves tucking Baby into her plastic crib. She has already entertained herself for hours with that dollhouse.

This morning B decided to get up with the sun, which she never does! As soon as we walked into her room she told us she was hungry and that she wanted chicken. She settled for a sausage biscuit. B has also discovered jello this weekend. She can't get enough. I think she likes how it squishes in her mouth. It cracks her up.

Thanks to Pops and Mimi for keeping B again today. We went to buy Nick some new suits and quickly discovered that shopping is more difficult with an almost two year old. So B was dropped off at the grandparents and we went and bought a new dining room table and rug. Our dining room is currently empty, and we are in the process now of getting it fixed up. Pics coming in a few weeks when it is completed.

Brooklynn keeping herself busy tonight by sorting my Tupperware.

Several of you have asked, so I have posted the updated Amazon Christmas/Birthday lists for Brooklynn. If you are like me, you like a list, especially when you are buying for kids and you have no idea what they do and do not already have. I have updated it throughout the year as I see things that catch B's interest. Much of it can be bought at Target or Toys R Us, so if you don't want to order it online just shoot me an email so I can take it off the list.
