Shoes

B had a great first full day in the two year old class. I was surprised when I went to pick her up. It wasn't that the kids were bigger than B (which they aren't), but I did kind of step back for a moment and observe how much more agile the older kids seemed. For a minute I thought, "Man, these boys are going to run over poor B!" Then I remembered who I was talking about and realized that B will be right in there with them before long.

I think it is safe to say that Brooklynn has mastered putting her shoes on. I don't know if I have ever mentioned that she is a little obsessed with shoes. In fact, the past three nights she has demanded on going to bed with her shoes. I have no idea how long she stays up and practices, but every night when I check on her she has her shoes on and is snoozing away.

Today on the way home from school, I turned around and B had taken both shoes and socks off and put her shoes back on. I guess she was tired of wearing socks. She has gotten pretty good at slipping the velcro strap through the loop. I have to say I'm pretty impressed, but that girl has been practicing!

Tonight B got some much needed fall clothes. Mimi and I made a trip to the Kohl's sales rack! We got some pretty good deals. Here is B in her new Minnie Mouse jammies.

Yes, I am as tired as I look.
