Yesterday Brooklynn stayed home with Nick. We have animal magnets on the fridge and we have been working on animal sounds. So far B can identify and make the sound for cow, sheep, dog and she also makes a fish face for fish!
When Nick picked up B from school on Thursday, Ms. Kema was telling Nick how much B likes to follow her schedule and routines. Apparently, after nap time every day B automatically takes her sheet off her mat, rolls it up and takes it to Ms. Kema to put in her cubby. She also really likes the nature walks her class takes every day. Ms. Kema said that when she tells the class they are going on a nature walk, B gets really excited and starts to round up all her classmates. This explains how Brooklynn knew to point out the "bush" earlier this week when we were walking to the door.
B has also mastered some cartoon characters, "Oso" and "Manny."
