Brooklynn is feeling much better today. Her fever is gone, but she occasionally is pulling on her ears.
We had a busy day making up for all the fun things we missed doing yesterday. Today Brooklynn did the following things:
- B drew a picture with markers and paint. A bath will be a necessity tonight and apparently orange markers taste better than all the other colors. You'll notice that there is not any orange on this picture. This is because every time I handed it to her, it went straight to her mouth!
- B rode her tricycle to the park and had a good time on the slide. The bees kept us away from the swing, which B didn't appreciate. We may need a grandfather or uncle to come over and build a swing in our backyard once we move. B loves to swing, but those darn bees are always around.
- B walked through a puddle and then turned around and ran back to walk through the puddle again. Yes, her only pair of daycare acceptable shoes are soaked.
- B went for a ride in the red wagon, but then decided she would rather pull the wagon herself.
- Brooklynn took two nice long naps! Mommy and Daddy needed a break too!
- B learned the sound that a snake makes. I was surprised when I pointed out a snake and she said, "sssss." I just mentioned snake for the first time yesterday when Nick drew a picture of one on her magna doodle.
- Brooklynn said, "please" before asking for water and also used the sign for please.
- B threw Tugboat his ball over and over and over again.
- B practiced identifying and making the sounds of our refrigerator animals. We have about 15 animals, check out the video to see the animals Brooklynn knows so far!
