Brooklynn has recently become interested in her four wheeler that was a gift from Granny and Papa. Although she prefers to push it, last night marked the first time that she actually rode the four wheeler across the room. She was very proud of herself as you can see from the video.
B's vocabulary is improving every day. Yesterday we were at the park and a bird flew by. She stopped what she was doing, looked up, pointed and said "bird." She must have learned this from her nature walks at school. The only animals we have been working on at home are cow, sheep, horse, frog, dog and then today cat. Yes, a cat followed us home when we were checking the mail. Brooklynn was very intrigued. She couldn't keep her eyes off that cat and he was fond of her as well. I've never had a cat follow me home before. Maybe we will get B a kitten when we move.
Today I was talking to Nick on my way to pick up B from school. He was telling me that B was excited to get to school this morning because they were blowing bubbles. Bubbles are one of her favorite activities. When I got B in the car I said, "What did you do at school today?" She said, "Bubbles!" Lucky guess? Maybe, but I'll just pretend she really knew what I was asking.
