We wish we could be in Greenville tonight to celebrate Dad's Birthday with the Bonners. I'm sure Ruth's Chris Steakhouse will be lively tonight. Dad, Mom, Blake, Kaley, Aunt Stephanie, Dave, Nancy, Claudia, Allen, and Bill are all headed out on the town. I hope no one is headed to Ruth's Chris for a nice romantic dinner tonight. If so, I would suggest you go somewhere else! Happy Birthday, we love you and wish we could be there!
Today was a busy day. Brooklynn actually slept in until 8:30, which was nice since I couldn't sleep last night. I made the mistake of watching Grey's Anatomy on my DVR right before bed. Talk about an intense two hour finale, my nerves were shot all night long!
I met a former co-worker for lunch at Nantucket Grill. It was different and refreshing to go out the eat and not have to wrestle Brooklynn the whole time. I forgot what that feels like! Sorry, B!
This afternoon we started packing. Have I mentioned that I really hate packing? Every time we move, I usually just go on a massive spree and throw all sorts of things away. Maybe it is good to move every now and then. The clutter doesn't build. Of course, of the five times we have moved in the past six years I have not had to pack up a billion toys. We'll see how that goes.
Here is a picture of Brooklynn helping out this afternoon.
We are looking forward to next weekend. B and I are coming to G'ville on Friday morning after her doctor's appointment. That will be Brooklynn's last trip from Chapel Hill since she is staying with Pops and Mimi for the next two weeks. Saturday we are headed to Georgia for Kaley's graduation party. We'll be back to Greenville sometime on Sunday. We are also going to spend some time with Aunt Bidney that weekend or Monday so B will feel comfy spending a few days with her while Mom is at work. It's nice to know we have such great family members to help us out while we transition to Greenville! Thanks, ya'll are the best!
