Friday Brooklynn had her 18 month check up, even though she just turned 17 months on Saturday. We went early so that she could see her pediatrician in Chapel Hill one last time. I chose to wait until next month for her 18 month shots with her new doctor. We also took Tugboat to the vet to get a shot. That was a challenging experience trying to manage Tug and B at the vet. I will try to avoid that again in the future! Finally we headed to Greenville Friday which was a long long trip. The traffic was horrible, but B was great the whole way.
Saturday we headed to Cartersville, GA for Kaley's graduation party. Brooklynn had her second hotel stay. The first time she did well because we were in a suite and she slept in a different room. This trip we had a traditional hotel room so Brooklynn was able to see us when she should have been sleeping in her Pack and Play. Needless to say, she wasn't going to sleep when Nick and I were in the same room. We put her in the bed with us until she fell asleep and then she managed to make it to about 2 am in the Pack and Play. After that, she was back to the bed which was an experience. Once I woke up and she was pulling my hair, another time she was poking me in the eye and then slapping me in the face. She loved every minute of it. When she woke up the next morning she sat up and kissed Nick right on the lips. Haha!
Sunday we headed back and didn't do much of anything. We did go to Lowe's and B got to ride in a race car!

Brooklynn also said I love you for the first time on Sunday. She sat up looked at Pops and just said, "I love you!"
Today I came back to CH and Nick went to Columbia. B got to spend a little time with Aunt Bidney in preparation for the rest of the week. She did great!
