That's what I thought of today when I talked to Mom and Dad and then Bidney about B's day. Brooklynn has always been fond of Bidney, even though they haven't spent a lot of time together since she has been born. I knew yesterday when we walked in the door and B let Bidney hold her that she was going to have a great week. Brooklynn always seems comfortable with Bidney.
Today they read some books, took some naps, fed the ducks, and snacked on lots of pineapples! Dad mentioned that he could tell B had a good day. Once Dad picked her up, she came home and slept until dinner. Mom and Blake "Skyped" me after dinner, but B was grumpy from being woken up. She did manage to blow me a double kiss at the end of our conversation and then it was off to visit Nana and then to bed. Brooklynn is a busy girl! Hopefully she won't even notice that Nick and I are gone until we get back to Greenville on Friday!
I decided to take a personal day on Friday (since I lose them in 6 days anyway). We should be in Greenville Friday afternoon or evening! We are so excited about moving into our new house! It will be a short weekend and then it is back to Chapel Hill for my last four days of school. Nick and I will both be living in hotels that week! Thanks to Dad for using all his hotel points that he's saved up. He had enough points for a stay in London, but instead it is four nights for me in Durham, North Carolina. I think we may owe Mom and Dad a nice dinner at Ruth's Chris when Nick starts working, but for now all I can do is say a
big ,"THANK YOU!"
Here is a picture of B from a couple of weekends ago. She loves riding in her red wagon that Poopa and Gram gave her for Christmas last year.
