Brooklynn spent today with Aunt Bidney. When we left the house this morning, I walked outside to get something out of the car and B started screaming, "Mama, Mama!" I thought to myself at the time that dropping her off this morning isn't going to be pleasant. Once we got to Bidney's, B went straight to Bidney and as she and I were talking, B looked at me said ,"Bye, Bye" and blew me a kiss. Ok Brooklynn, I can take a hint! She loves Aunt Bidney!
I got a lot accomplished this afternoon. My goal was to tackle the mess in the garage and get most of the stuff in the attic, which I did. I still have some work to do, but for the most part we can ALMOST get both cars in the garage! Thanks to Bidney for offering to watch B so that I could get this done!
Brooklynn got to feed the ducks today and took a trip to the library to play on the computers! She had a great time!
We went out to dinner tonight with Mimi, Pops, and Blake. Brooklynn loves eating at Harbor Inn because of all the fish on the wall. She spent the first 10 minutes we were there saying, "Fish, Fish" and making a fish face. She is also a huge fan of hushpuppies dipped in tartar sauce.
Nick and I stopped by Lowe's on the way home to try and get some ideas for the big empty bed in front of the house. We just can't decide what to plant. We did get some more flowers for the window boxes since ours died while we were in Charleston. We also got one fern (I really want about 4 more for the porch) and some big beautiful pink flowers for the pots on the deck stairs. Thanks to the squirrels for killing my marigolds which were previously planted there.
Brooklynn finally said, "Blake" tonight which came out more like bake, but we knew what she meant.
