One day down, two and half more to go

Well we got moved in this weekend. I haven't had much time to post with all the packing up last week and then the unpacking over the weekend. A big thanks to Dan, Ashley, Kayla, and Justin for helping us move! Dan came from Winston and Ashley drove all the way from Virginia Beach to help us. Kayla and Justin were ready to help us Saturday morning in Greenville. It's nice to know we have such wonderful friends and family members who will drop everything when we need a little help. Thanks, guys!

I made my way back to Chapel Hill last night and I'm staying at the Marriott until tomorrow and then I will switch over to the Hampton Inn down the road. Today I organized horse rides at our school for the elementary kids. I'm glad to have that behind me. I have been nervous about it, but luckily the weather wasn't too hot and the horses stayed calm long enough to get through the whole schedule! Tomorrow is the day that I have been planning along with a few other teachers for several months now. I volunteered to help out with Field Day and somehow got handed the reins. I have spent hours planning tomorrow's events and I'm hoping that everything runs smoothly. Say a little prayer for me in the morning. I have volunteers, middle schoolers, Duke students, ten stations, a bounce house, inflatable slide, and a dunking booth to manage. That stressed me out just typing out that list. I'm going to try not to get caught up in the little things that go wrong tomorrow and just remember that the kids are going to have fun even if everything doesn't run smoothly.

Nick has decided to do his bar studying from Greenville since all he is doing is watching videos in a USC classroom. He can watch the videos at home and we can save the hotel money and use it for something more useful. So he is with my sweet B this week and Mom is watching her during the day so Nick can study.
