Success

Well my Field Day today was a success! The kids had a great time and I am exhausted. I walked from one end of the school to the other with a walkie talkie about 150 times. My legs are throbbing and I am going to sleep good tonight. I'm pretty sure that if teaching doesn't work out, I may have a future as an event planner! Maybe I should look into that.

Brooklynn spent the day with Mimi. Mimi bought her a new book that she says Brooklynn just LOVES! That little girl sure does love a book. Maybe it is because her middle name is Brown. All those Brown gals sure love to read!

Last night Brooklynn met up with Nick's family to celebrate Poopa's birthday. Below is a picture of she and Marlee.



I meant to post the picture below last weekend, but I never got around to it. Nick completed his first job as a homeowner. He changed the light in the front staircase. The one we replaced was old and ugly so we upgraded! Nick had a hard time managing the steps, wires and all the other things at once, but he successfully completed the task. Here is our new light!!
