Brooklynn had a great first day of school! We dropped her off about 8:30 to a classroom full of little boys and one other girl. They put her in the pre-toddler room (18-24 months) and the teacher said she would only be there a few weeks and then they are planning on moving her up to the toddler room (24- 36 months). When we left her I noticed that she was the tallest kid in the class which was kind of weird for me since she has just turned 19 months. It just made me realize how tall she is for her age.
As we left B was pretty upset, but I know to give her a kiss, wave and don't look back! Of course, she had a great day and was busy playing with all her new friends when we picked her up about 1:00. She went around the room to find 4 different kids, got right in their faces, waved, and said "Bye!" Her teachers said she really enjoyed art (no surprise there) and that she is wonderful at cleaning up.
