Ugh, August!

Tomorrow is Brooklynn's first day of school! Nick and I are planning on dropping her off early in the morning and then picking her up after lunch. I'm curious to see what class she is in and how she does with her new classmates and teachers. Tomorrow is also the day I am planning on taking all my classroom stuff out of the garage and moving it into my new classroom.

August is always a stressful month with so much to do at the beginning of the year. I'm always especially stressed when I switch schools because I have a new curriculum, school procedures, staff and a million other things to learn and organize before Open House. It is difficult to manage my time and cram in everything in just a short amount of time.

For those of you that are wondering, our ac is still broken. It is supposed to be fixed on Tuesday, so we will keep our fingers crossed. All this rain the past couple days has given us a nice little break from the heat, it is only 79 degrees upstairs now! Brooklynn has been such a trooper sleeping in her Pack and Play in our bedroom (since that is where the window unit is located at the moment.) Two more nights and hopefully she will be back in her own bed!
