Today we moved Nana to the Hospice House in Simpsonville. She had a pretty bad morning and Mom and Aunt Shay decided that Hospice was the best place for her. She is in the room right across from where Papa was during his time at The McCall House. I was hoping to never have to go back to that place, but I know the nurses there took such great care of Papa and that they will do the same for Nana.
Brooklynn had a sweet moment with Nana yesterday. She laid down beside Nana and put her head on her pillow so that they were nose to nose. Then she kissed Nana smack on the lips. Nana opened her eyes and puckered up for more kisses. Brooklynn then went on to shout, "Love you Nana, love you Nana." It was sweet.
Tomorrow I start school. I'm trying to get in the right frame of mind to begin another year with all that is going on with Nana. For now we will just take it one day at a time.
