Yes, I know I promised to post the pictures from the Character Breakfast two weeks ago! I've been a little busy, and wow Spring Break is really late this year. It is still weeks away. Anyway, here is how the Character Breakfast went down:
This look pretty much sums up the experience for B.
Breakfast was delicious! The one thing she did enjoy. (Minus the piece of bacon she swiped from Nick's plate and choked on. Well, I'm sure she isn't the first person to throw up on the Poinsett Club's floor. Oops.)
Stuart Little- B yelled, "Mouse!"
Annie- B had no idea who this person was
Snow White- Again, no idea
Cinderella- Maybe a spark of recognition, we watched some utube clips of the movie that morning
Belle- By far the best princess there. She was the only one that looked like the actual princess.
FINALLY, someone B knows but this is as close as we got to any character. She flipped out about 2 seconds after this photo was taken.
The lady at the door sympathized with B's concerns over the strange looking people and gave her three balloons. I should have just gone to Wilson's, B would have enjoyed it more.
We learned some very important and expensive lessons on this day. 1) B has little to no appreciation for people dressed up in any type of costume. 2) The next time I get the bright idea to introduce B to Disney characters, it is critical that she see at least one of the movies first. 3) Expensive fairy wings are only cool to wear once we get home. 4) I could have gotten a much cheaper breakfast at Waffle House with half the wait and kept the remaining 65 dollars. With that said, maybe next year will be better! :)
