It was a rainy weekend in Greenville. Brooklynn informed us earlier in the week that she wanted to go to the zoo to see the giraffes. I promised to take her, but the weather didn't cooperate. It did, however, quit raining long enough on Saturday for me to get my new cardinal feeder out. Brooklynn quickly discovered that the squirrels like to hang upside down by one leg in order to get the seeds. This is how she spent a large part of the day:
She thought it was hilarious when the squirrels squabbled over the bird seed. One particular squirrel became very territorial, which caught Piper's eye.
Brooklynn thought the funniest part of the whole thing was when Piper decided to get involved. She pounced and chased the squirrels once the rain slowed down.
