Our Exciting Monday

Today Brooklynn and I headed home to wait for the air people to come and give us an estimate. We waited and we waited and we waited. B played in the playroom most of the morning until it just got too hot upstairs.

Then Brooklynn helped me clean downstairs.


Our neighbor let us borrow an air unit from his commercial air business for the upstairs bedroom so B was able to take a nap on the floor while we continued to wait.


Finally I called the air company late in the afternoon and someone was at our house by 3. After about an hour he said he would call tomorrow with an estimate. Ugh. So we headed back to Pops and Mimi's house about 5. B was exhausted and broken out from the heat. After a nice cool bath (with pink water this time) she was feeling a little better. Here she is rocking her baby and relaxing after a long, hot day.
